Medical help for the Congo

In the remote areas of the DR Congo many people do not have access to any medical treatment when they are ill. They are just too far away from the next hospitals. The mortality, especially the infant mortality, is high. With the help of the United Evangelical Mission the churches rebuilt health care centers in remote areas and send doctors and health care workers to those who can't come.

The "child witches"

Thousands of children live on the streets of Kinshasa/DR Congo. Many of them are seen as "child witches" and were forced to leave home. We support them.

Religious freeedom

Many Christian congregations in Indonesia and all over the world struggle against violence and for religious freedom. They need our support to carry on with their work.

Papua: A light for every hut

In the highlands of West Papua night falls at 6pm. Learning for school or caring for the ill always has been difficult. We help with solar lamps.

Courage through education

Children with disabilities have a difficult time of it in Tanzania. The Rainbow School in the northeastern part of the country is supporting these children – and giving their parents the courage to stand behind them.

Radio links

When the next village is a day away, contact can easily be broken. The Christian Protestant Church of Mentawai links villagers on the remote islands through radio, helping them to get through everyday life.

A head start for the youth

Many young people in Rwanda have no future without their parents. The Anglican Church is giving these young people a home and an education.

Schools not garbage

Manila, Philippines: 2,000 families live in and off of garbage. The United Church of Christ in the Philippines is working hard for these forgotten families and is helping children overcome destitution.

A future despite disability

It is difficult for children with disabilities to become independent. The Christian-Protestant Karo-Batak Church in Indonesia is helping them.

Basic Income Grant

A village is flourishing: the Basic Income Grant in Otjivero/Namibia has improved the lives of many inhabitants. Children now are able to go to school.
