The »Ecumenical Workshop Wuppertal« founded in 1972, is one of the two conference centres of the United Evangelical Mission.
Justice in the One World, ecumenism, intercultural encounters further training for those involved in church work
The EW Wuppertal runs seminars on One-World topics, ecumenical themes and intercultural encounters that are open to the general public.
The EW Wuppertal offers professional training courses for full-time church workers or for voluntary workers in the church, in One-World shops or other ecumenical initiatives.
The seminars and further training courses are characterised by the fact that people from different professions and people working voluntarily train together and work at the course contents from a perspective and an understanding of the One World.

Conference and Guesthouse on the „Hardt“
The conference centre »Ecumenical Workshop« is »in the heart of Wuppertal«, in a quiet yet nevertheless central position in a nature reserve »the Hardt«. The varied landscape of the Bergisch Land and the town of Wuppertal with its many cultural and leisure time activities dominate the interesting surroundings.
Conference rooms and modern rooms for 53 guests
The modern single and double rooms have been equipped according to ecological standards,are partly suitable for the disabled and offer accomodation for 53 guests. Six conference rooms can be used for 10 – 60 persons and are equipped with modern conference technology.
A Quiet Room, a lounge, a film room and a sun lounge invite our visitors to relax and enjoy themsleves.
Youth groups very welcome
A separate annex equipped with 30 beds in generous 4-bed rooms and 2 single rooms is available specially for the needs of youth groups and their leaders.
The football amd volleyball fields belonging to the house, the table tennis room with billiards and table football invite sporting activiity and games for young and old.
International cuisine with something extra
For the well-being of our visitors we offer a balanced international cuisine. Vegetarian meals or specially prepared meals for those with allergies are part of the service of our house. If the weather is good our rustical barbecue area is a meeting place for all those who love a proper barbecue.
