When typhoons destroy entire Philippine settlements, earthquakes level Indonesian churches, or the explosion of a fuel tanker destroys an entire village in Congo, we don’t abandon our member churches. We are there for them quickly, with financial and expert aid to help in their hour of need, and we work on reconstruction together with our local brothers and sisters.

Every human being has the right to a self-determined life in dignity. Our member churches work their hardest to help children and adults with disabilities to reach this goal.

study programme

Social work needs expertise. But internationally there are hardly any experts in diaconic service. This is why we have started an international study programme at the theological college in Wuppertal/Bethel.
