Diaconia - an integral part of a holistic understanding of mission and an everyday mission of the churches in Africa, Asia and Germany.

Especially with the qualifying educational programmes in the field of deaconry, the VEM offers a sustainable contribution to the further development and professionalisation of diaconal action in the world: to combat poverty, health care, disaster management, educational work and the overcoming of violence.
