The General Secretary of the ACT Alliance, Rudelmar Bueno de Faria, met with UEM General Secretary Volker Martin Dally and Executive Secretary Finance and Administration Timo Pauler and Executive Secretary Justice, Peace and Integrity of Creation, Jochen Motte. They discussed cooperations between United Evangelical Mission and ACT Alliance, to improve global support structures in times of challenge.

ACT stands for »Action by Churches Together«. Its purpose is to improve the co-ordination of the churches’ global humanitarian aid and, through compliance with shared quality standards, make it even more effective.

UEM is a member organization of the ACT Alliance, a coalition of 147 churches and faith-based humanitarian and development organisations. They work together in 127 countries throughout the world. Together, the members of the ACT Alliance employ more than 30,000 staff and volunteers.
