The following terms and conditions apply, unless individual passages are stated otherwise. Deviating regulations to the General Terms and Conditions are noted on the specific flyers for the respective event - if available - and the annual programme.

Registrations must be made in writing by post, fax or e-mail, stating your name, telephone number and address. Online registrations are usually also possible via our website: www.vemission.org/bildungsangebote/seminare.html
The registration is binding. The registration deadline is usually six weeks before the seminar begins.
After the binding registration you will receive a registration confirmation with the invoice for the total amount.
For specially designated meetings of the United Evangelical Mission the following discount rules apply:
All trainees, students or pupils who have not yet reached the age of 29 receive a 30 percent discount.
Participants from the VEM Young Adults Network are reimbursed 50% of the travel costs from 100 km (2nd class DB).
Proof of eligibility for the reduction must be provided on registration.
After receipt of your confirmation of registration, you have the right, according to the Distance Selling Act, to revoke your contractual declaration in writing within 14 days. After expiry of the statutory cancellation period, cancellations may only be made in writing and within a reasonable time before the start of the event.
The following rules apply to cancellations, unless otherwise stated:
from 4 weeks before = 60 percent
from 1 week before = 100 percent
Services not used will not be reimbursed.
This regulation applies regardless of the reason for deregistration or non-participation! The fee will not be charged if you provide us with the name of a suitable replacement participant or if we can allocate the place elsewhere - for example via a waiting list.
These cancellation conditions apply to both the participation fee for the event and the costs incurred for board and lodging, provided that we have entered into corresponding cancellation obligations with the conference centre. Special terms and conditions apply to individual events (study trips, long-term training courses, etc.), which are referred to in the respective event programme.
If the minimum number of participants is not reached, if instructors or course leaders fall ill or for other important reasons, we reserve the right to cancel the event. We will inform you immediately in writing or by telephone. We will refund participation fees already paid.
For events which meet the requirements, educational leave in accordance with the Employee Further Training Act (AWbG) can be applied for from the employer up to six weeks before the event begins. We will treat the information you provide when registering as strictly confidential and use it only to organise the events. With your registration you agree to this use. Your data will not be passed on to third parties.
We assume no liability for theft, damage or loss of valuables during an event.
If you are not satisfied with the course of an event or see reason for complaint you can contace UEM in Wuppertal either personally or in writing.
You can also make your complaint in writing or orally to the assistant or the course management.
We will acknowledge receipt of the complaint and will look for a solution to the problem.
Participants are obliged to move within the framework of the house rules applicable to the respective conference venue.
Participants are obliged to register in the lists required for technical support. In the event of refusal, the event price to be paid may be increased by the lost grant.
In principle, all interested people are entitled to participate in our events. However, there are also events with certain access restrictions, e.g. gender, specific target group membership, qualifications achieved, etc. If such restrictions exist, they will be pointed out in the event programme.
A certificate of attendance will be issued for each event upon request by an attendee. It also contains the necessary data for submission to the tax office.
