In order to improve the quality of our websites, we store data on individual access to our pages for statistical purposes. This data record consists of
- the page from which the file was requested,
- the name of the file,
- the date and time of the query,
- of the transferred data volume,
- the access status (file transferred, file not found),
- Description of the type of web browser used,
- the anonymous IP address of the requesting computer.
You can register on our website. Within the registration process, especially for seminar registrations, we collect and process the following data: First name and surname or user name, date of birth, postal address, telephone (landline/mobile number), e-mail address and type of accommodation and meals (diabetics). In the online donation area we also register the name and bank details of the donor. These data, which require special protection, are transmitted via an encrypted SSL (Secure Socket Layer) Internet connection and are secure at all times.
This data is processed in order to create your user profile, to send you the necessary access data, to invoice any costs and to contact you.
The use of our web offer is possible without providing personal data. Would you like to receive brochures or other materials by post? Then we ask you for your name and address. Your name and address will be used for distribution by us or a company commissioned by us.
Your data will be stored as long as your profile exists and/or as long as they are needed for billing reasons (e.g. legal retention periods). Not all data is automatically deleted.
The data will not be transferred to third parties.
In order to protect the data that you provide us with when using this site from unwanted access, we use an encryption process. Your data is then transferred from your computer to our server and vice versa via the Internet using 256 Bit SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption. You can recognize this by the fact that the lock symbol on the status bar of your browser is closed and the address line begins with https://. We do not use encryption if you only access generally available information on our website.
We offer the possibility to receive information about new features on our website via newsletter. To receive our newsletter you need to provide a working e-mail address. You also have the option of selecting a form of address and entering a first and last name. This information is voluntary and can also be given pseudonymously. The subscription of the newsletter is also possible with a non-personal e-mail address. Before newsletters are sent out, e-mail owners are always asked to confirm their subscription to the newsletter in order to check whether the registration has actually been submitted by the address owners (so-called double opt-in procedure) If you do not wish to receive the newsletter at a later date, this is possible by simply unsubscribing by e-mail to the address given in the imprint.
You can contact us at any time with questions or suggestions via a contact form. In order to answer your questions or send you feedback, we need the following information: Name, first name, address and e-mail address. We use these data exclusively for the above-mentioned purposes.
UEM protects your personal data in accordance with the applicable German church data protection laws. UEM will only transfer personal data to institutions (authorities) entitled to receive information if there is an obligation to do so by law or by court order.
You have the right at any time to obtain information about your personal data stored with us, its origin and the purpose of data processing. In addition, you can demand the correction, blocking or deletion of this data. To do so, you can contact us in writing or by e-mail at the address given in the imprint.
This website uses the analysis program PIWIK. This is an open source software for the statistical analysis of online accesses. So-called "cookies" are used (text files which are stored on the user's computer and which enable an analysis of the use of the website). The information obtained about the use of the website is stored on the provider's server in Germany. However, the IP address is anonymised immediately after processing and before it is saved. The installation of cookies can be prevented by a setting in the browser software. However, this may mean that not all functions of this website can be used to their full extent.
The data collected is only used for statistical evaluations and to improve the website. However, the website operator reserves the right to subsequently check the server log files if there are concrete indications of illegal use.
If you do not agree with the storage and evaluation of this data from your visit (according to § 13 para. 1 and § 15 para. 3 TMG), you can object to the storage and use at the end of this declaration at any time with a mouse click. Please scroll down to the bottom of the page. In this case, a so-called opt-out cookie will be stored in your browser, which means that Piwik will not collect any session data. Note: If you delete your cookies, the opt-out cookie will also be deleted and may need to be reactivated by you.

Furthermore this website uses YouTube buttons. These are operated by YouTube, LLC, a subsidiary of Google LLC (San Bruno, CA 94107, USA). All information stored when using YouTube is aggregated within the Google Account. Therefore, YouTube privacy settings must be set in the Google Account. Functions of the Instagram service are integrated on our website. These functions are offered by Instagram Inc, 1601 Willow Road, Menlo Park, CA, 94025, USA. If you are logged in to your Instagram account, you can link the contents of our pages to your Instagram profile by clicking the Instagram button. This website uses the product Google Maps by Google Inc. By using this website, you agree to the collection, processing and use of automatically collected data by Google Inc, its representatives and third parties.
On pages of our website, contents of other third parties (e.g. RSS feeds) may also be integrated. The providers of these contents usually save cockies on the user's computer. You can prevent this by adjusting your browser settings accordingly, but this may result in these contents not being displayed correctly.
In addition, many (third-party) providers store the IP address of the user in order to be able to send the corresponding content to the user's browser. Unfortunately, we have no influence on the use of the IP address by the (third-party) provider.
Upon request, you as a user will receive information free of charge about what personal data about you has been stored. Unless your request conflicts with a legal obligation to store data (e.g. data retention), you are entitled to have incorrect data corrected and to have your personal data blocked or deleted.
Our data protection officer is responsible for compliance with and control of our data protection obligations. He is also available for further information about this website and data protection.
