The Christian Church in Indonesia (HKI) organised a management training for the church leaders including superintendents and department heads of the church from 31 November to 2 December 2021 in Parapat, Indonesia.
Dr Andar Parlindungan, Head of the Department for Training & Empowerment of the UEM, gave an online presentation on the Ecumenical Leadership Training of the United Evangelical Mission. The principles of good Christian leadership are equality in solidarity, anti-discriminatory and anti-racist attitudes, and the unity of the body of Christ.
The UEM supports training measures for church leaders, in pandemic times also in hybrid form. They serve the purpose of learning together to meet the demands of digitalisation and the challenges of the pandemic and to develop new formats of important exchange with each other.
