Hope is a positive response to the harsh circumstances of life, when everything goes wrong only hope helps us hold, it is believing that everything will be better, and believe in a better future. The fear of death, the fear of the future life, the uncertainties about the present, not having control over life situations, no longer trusting leaders and no longer trusting oneself, this leads in despair, and despair often leads to suicide. Born in the East of the Democratic Republic of Congo, in North Kivu, precisely in the city of Butembo. Life was deteriorating from day to day in my region, since my childhood, wars have followed each other, the massacres of every day have followed, and now it is an epidemic ravaging the region. Too many painful circumstances, with too limited resources, uncertainty about the future is high, and this leads to depression, and early death. Faced with the powerlessness of the population, and the indifference of the authorities to the situation, the logical reaction is to despair. Many young people have not had the chance to get out of this situation, others have lost loved ones early, this is also my case, and others are always looking for a way out of this situation. Many did not have the same grace as me, I grew up in a Christian family, who showed me the way to God. What helped me to hold until now, is the hope that God loves me and that he has a wonderful plan for my life, that one day everything will be better, that I will have a better future, that I will succeed in my projects, that I will be a model of reference for the youth and an inspiration for my region but also that after this life, I revered the close ones who preceded me, and that we will live a life of eternal happiness with God.
Whenever we have the opportunity, we must give the oppressed, the unfortunate, a reason to hope to avoid the worst, in this way we will contribute to the construction of a better world. El Pacific Binagha
