People all over the world were confronted with the pandemic for the first time a year ago. Since then, church members in UEM churches have fallen ill or even died, people have lost their jobs and their income, and congregations have had to stop their services or switch to online services.
In many countries life has changed dramatically and personal physical encounters are only possible to a very limited extent. But we have also experienced new forms of solidarity and have been given new ways to pray, to talk and to exchange together. In an international online service on Palm Sunday from South Africa, East Java and Germany we will commemorate but also strengthen our common hope and faith. Let us celebrate together united in Christ!
