The local section Pematangsiantar of the Youth Organisation of the Nadhlatul Ulama - this is the largest Muslim organisation in the world! - invited Pastor Petrus Sugito and Irma Riana Simanjuntak from our Regional Office to report on social services and environmental protection from a Christian perspective. The subsequent discussion also focused on how Christian and Muslim believers can contribute together to deradicalisation.
Twenty-nine young people from Northern and Central Java, Christians, Buddhists, Hindus and Muslims spent two days living with families of different faiths.
