"Share the good news - Faith and Grace in action" - the theme of the UEM General Assembly 2016 is also the theme of the Africa Regional Assembly 2015. The delegates from the 13 African member churches of UEM meet from March 4th to 6th in Bukoba. Hosting Church is the North-Western Diocese of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Tanzania (ELCT-NWD). Moderator Regine Buschmann will welcome the delegates.
The agenda includes topics like the fight against HIV/Aids, partnership work or the projects against child poverty and human trafficking, as discussed by the General Assembly 2014. The delegates will also discuss about the possibilities to increase the contributions of the African member churches to the joint work of UEM (United Action).
The Regional Assembly will finally choose a location for the 2016 UEM General Assembly which will take place in Africa.
