"Living with other faiths”: When you enter the town of Kibuye at Lake Kivu in Rwanda this week, you will immediately see the banners of the UEM African Regional Assembly: More than 50 delegates from 13 African member churches of UEM meet in Bethany Hotel of the Presbytarian Church of Rwanda for five days to discuss about the topic of the General Assembly 2012. The Assembly has officially been opened on Tuesday evening. On the topic on interreligious dialogue perspectives from all three UEM regions will be given, and there will be an input from a Muslim perspective, too. The miraculous healings in Loliondo, Tanzania, will also be discussed. On Friday, August 5
th, the delegates will elect a new Vice-Chairperson of the Africa Region of UEM and other delegates, e.g. to the General Assembly. The African Regional Assembly will end next weekend with an exposure programme on Saturday and a worship in Kigali on Sunday.
