GLOBAL: Being global is part of who we are. It shapes every project, all management structures, our decision-making processes, our staff makeup, fundraising, and each of our fields of expertise.
LEARNING: Basic human rights. Learning as a way to transcend global, local, social, economic, and cultural boundaries. We are learning together.
ECUMENICAL: Our faith is global. We believe that we all belong together. This is the basis for all of our programmes and why they are organized as they are: across the spectrum that the UEM portrays.
PERSPECTIVE: A multitude of perspectives for all topics concerning the UEM. Full participation by a varied population in all programmes and topics. Diversity is our strength.
Our three Codes of Conduct (CoC) provide us with guidelines and instructions on how to behave to ensure we achieve this specific goal. They are: the CoC against Sexualised Harassment, the CoC against Racism and Discrimination and the CoC for Transparency and against Corruption. To facilitate access to these documents, we have summarised these codes of conduct in one text, using the simplest language possible.
