Dancing, reading and rapping the bible: More than 100 young adults will meet in June for having a four day experience with the book of books. UEM is hosting its first internatioanl youth bible camp. From June 10th to 13th the 18-25 year old young people meet in Spangenberg in Spangenberg in Hesse (Germany) – on the "Himmelsfels", a park located in an old stone pit, where Christian programmes for young people a realised for seven years now. The bible camp is an experiment: intensive, creative and little bit crazy. A young team prepares the event together with Dr. Claudia Währisch-Oblau, UEM's Executive Secretary for Evangelism. There will be intensive exchange in multicultural groups, creative programmes like dancing and „Pimp your Bible“, new forms of bible studies, a garden of silence and much more. UEM invites young people from its member churches in Africa in Asia, young Germans can register directly on
www.bibelcamp2011.de. The fee for them: € 50, including overnight stays and food.
