The last preparations for the first international bible camp of the UEM are underway. In a few hours the youth meeting is going to start on the "Himmelsfels", a hill in the area of the Evangelical Church of Hesse-Waldeck which is used for evangelistic programmes. The young participants from all over Germany and the world will engage themselves in a intensive programme around the bible for four days. Reading, dancing, rapping and pimping the bible: There are no limits in creativity. The bible camp is an experiment - intense, creative and a little bit crazy. A young team has been preparing the programme under supervision of Dr Claudia Währisch-Oblau, head of UEM's evangelism department. Monica Festo Kijo from Tanzania und Maxie Kaerger from Germany were still in the middle of the last preparations for their unit on "hope". On Sunday they will sing, discuss and dance with the young people - exploring the bible in a creative way.
