Diana Binkor Jenbise passes PhD exam

The pastor of the Evangelical Church in West Papua (GKI-TP) has passed her doctoral examination at the Divinity School of Silliman University University in Dumaguete, Philippines. She was awarded her doctoral certificate at a ceremony on July 31. She can now call herself "Dr"

Her dissertation is entitled "Jesus as Manseren Manggundi and other Christ-Images: Christology from Papuan People's Perspectives". Margaret Helen U. Alvarez and Muriel Orevillo Montenegro had supervised their work. From 2016 to 2022, the UEM scholar had completed a doctorate in mission theology at the Divinity School of Silliman University.

Diana Binkor Jenbise will serve as a lecturer at Sekolah Tinggi Filsafat GKI I.S. Kijne in Jayapura. She is married with two children.
