By Martina Pauly In the meantime he is the fifth theologian from the ULPGL university of the UEM member CBCA in Eastern Congo, who has successfully finished his doctor studies with a scholarship of UEM. Kambale Kahongya Bwiruka has been scientifically accompanied by Prof Dr Henning Wrogemann in mission studies. In his thesis he deals with the phenomenon of witch children in Goma and examines the religious aspects of the social work of Christian churches and movements in the context of the crisis in the Eastern Congo region. Bwiruka will work as a professor for theology at the ULPGL in Goma. UEM presently supports 98 students from Africa and Asia. The gender among the students is balanced.
