Emergency help for the Philippines

The Evangelical Church in the Rhineland (EKiR), the Evangelical Church of Westphalia (EKvW) and the United Evangelical Mission support the UEM member church in the Philippines (UCCP) with 10,000 Euro disaster relief. The tropical storm "Trami" had hit Metro Manila last week and flooded major parts of the city and neighbouring regions.

Food packages as an emergency aid

The UCCP helps poor families, who are the most severely affected, with food packages. Many have become homeless after heavy rains and the following floods in the Philippines' capital. Food and medicine is needed as well as tents, blankets and dry clothes.
