Flowers for reception

Singing and presenting flowers to the delegates - it was a very warm reception for the delegates to the Women and Youth Pre-Assemblies of UEM. Children from the hosting Karo Batak Protestant Church welcomed the delegates in Sukamakmur/North Sumatra. Women and Youth delegates meet every prior to the General Assembly (GA) to discuss about important topics concerning themselves. From Sunday on, the GA itself will start in Berastagi, close to Sukamakmur. 70 delegates from Africa, Asia, and Germany will decide upon important issues concerning the UEM. Amongst other topics, the delegates will discuss on the theme „Living with other faiths“. The General Assembly will also elect a new council (the supervisory board).
