Former Church President of the Presbyterian Church of Rwanda now Vice Chancellor of PIASS

On the 30 September 2015 in a well attended huge ceremony at the Huye Campus Prof. Dr Benoit Girardin handed over the head and gown of the Vice Chancellor of PIASS to Prof. Dr Elisée Musemakweli. In his welcoming speeches he stretches that leading such a growing institution can only be a team work and team effort of engaged staff, boards, students and the ministry of education. In the last five years PIASS expanded and will expand further engaging in master programmes and new courses. The results of the last years work were celebrated as well on the same occasion: the inauguration of the new library and the graduation of students of theology, development and teaching.

PIASS (Protestant Institute of Arts and Social Sciences) is a private, independent and accredited Higher Learning Institution owned by Protestants Churches in Rwanda that intends to promote a conducive environment for studying social sciences.
