Full church in Virunga

Kakule Molo, president of the Church der Christlichen Kirche in Zentralafrika (CBCA), had announced a "ordinary worship". But hundreds of worshippers and a really dressed up congregation in Virunga made the induction of Angeklika Veddeler and John Wesley Kabango as UEM Executive Secretaries on Sunday something special. The induction was included very harmonically into the three-hours worship. In her sermon about 1. Corinthians 10, 23-24 UEM-Moderator Regine Buschmann said: „Here in Kivu region you know many people who act as everything was allowed. They do not care about others, but destroy and harm. We as Christians should to pay attention to the word "but" and to everything that follows. We should care for our families, our neighbours and our society and we should do our best for them." Angelika Veddeler has taken over the position as Executive Secretary for the German Region of UEM as from Febrauary 1st on, John Wesley Kabango has started his work as Executive Secretary for Africa last year.
