The third study section of the International Master of Arts in Diaconic Management (IMADM) of the 4
th batch of students started successfully in Cape Town, South Africa. According to the practice and design of the study program, in the first week the group will participate in the field research on “diaconia in context” in Cape Town and travel afterwards to the Stellenbosch University where further lecturing takes place. The themes around which the study section is orientated are on public leadership and black theology. The impact of the apartheid regiment in South Africa and the general economic situation of the African continent will be on focus. The study subjects include socio-economic conditions of sub-saharan Africa, theology and development, corporate governance, intercultural and African theology, cultural sensitivity, leadership and diversity. The first two sections from the Asian region already took place in Jakarta, Indonesia (September 2018) and Dumaguete, Philippines (January 2019). Godwin Ampony (UEM Training Centre Bielefeld-Bethel)
