They have planned for two years, sat together and prepared the project, looked for sponsors and event locations. It was a challenge for the church districts of Soest and Arnsberg in Germany together with the ecumenical office of the Westphalian Church to prepare the International Choir Project. But now the effort bear fruit: The young singers from the Karagwe Diocese in Tanzania (ELCT-KAD) and the Evangelical Church in Cameroon (EEC) have arrived and rehearse together with young Germans. In the first days of the project the 45 young singers visited the UEM. The project will last until August 24th. It shall give a special input to the partnership work of the respective church districts. Whoever has seen the group performing will not doubt that this will be successful.
