New team "Communication & Fundraising" with new leadership

In this newly designed team, the communication, support and retention of stakeholders and donors of the UEM will be intensified and expanded in the future. Susanne Seiler brings with her a wide range of experience from the international consumer goods sector, in campaign support, communication and fundraising in the field of NGOs. Already in the first few days, she gave herself up to the following short interview:

What were your first two days at UEM like?

Exciting! In many conversations and meetings with the staff of the UEM, I am getting to know the motivation of the people, the structures of the organisation and its goals bit by bit and I am excited.

Where have you worked so far?

For many years, my professional and private commitment has been to children and young people in need - worldwide. Most recently, I was in charge of fundraising and communication for an independent child and youth welfare organisation.

How did you find your way to the UEM?

Quite classically - via a job portal. But the more I found out about the tasks and goals of the UEM, the more convinced I was to become part of the UEM.

What did you notice in your first few days at the UEM?

The diversity of the projects of all the member churches of the UEM and especially the commitment of the people in Africa, Asia and in Germany are impressive. I am looking forward to the challenge of communicating this commitment and motivating people to support our mission.
