What is the purpose of what I am doing? This was the question that brought Catherina Wendel to apply to UEM in Wuppertal, Germany.
Since completing her training, the qualified industrial clerk has gained a wide range of experience in the field of purchasing, especially with international contacts. She now brings this enthusiasm to our Team International Diaconia after working for several years at the University of Wuppertal for two professors. Here she finds opportunities to make a meaningful contribution in social and christian fields. For her, this means paying more attention to people and togetherness than to numbers and sales.
In the Team International Diaconia, she will be primarily responsible for the administration of our international master's students who are studying on three continents in the International Master of Arts in Diaconic Management (IMADM). This degree is awarded by the University of Bielefeld, Germany, but requires a lot of organizational support work on the part of the UEM.
In her free time, she enjoys singing and is a member of several choirs.
We are happy to welcome Catherina Wendel to the Mission House in Wuppertal and wish her God's blessing for her new task.
