New Project Officer

Reuben Inganji, will serve as UEMs new project officer based in Africa Regional Office in Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania with close working collaboration with UEM member churches and partners, as well as United Action, UEM’s fundraising campaign in Africa and Asia.

In his new Job as a Project Officer, he will be responsible for communicating with UEM member churches about present and future projects, their funding, evaluation and support from UEM and other member churches. Mr. Inganji points out: “To me, the relationships with the member churches is not a one off, but a continuing process of mutual learning and growth in the life of the church, as we continue to serve in Gods vineyard.”

Originally from Kenya, Mr. Inganji grew up in an ecumenical and pentacostal environment. Today, he is a member of the Anglican Church. “Serving in the Church is very close to my heart” he says about his motivation, adding that he draws a lot of inspiration from Christ’s service to others. About UEM, he especially likes the family values, the importance of sharing in the community and the emphasis on Diaconia as part of ministry work.

In his free time, he loves to read, saying that books help him travel around the world.
