"Peace Among People – Respect and Diversity"

“The conference succeeded in highlighting the good values of the world religions while at the same time calling on all religious communities to join forces in working for justice, peace and the rescue of our endangered planet.” This is how Rev Dr Andar Parlindungan, General Secretary of the United Evangelical Mission (UEM), describes the results of the conference.

In November 2023, 51 delegates from various religions and churches came together in Jakarta. “Peace Among People – Respect and Diversity” was the theme of the conference. Today, the documentation of the conference is published. On 141 pages, the participants show how they promote, preserve and enable peace in their respective contexts.

The UEM is celebrating the release of the documentation with a Book Launch during its international online devotion on 26 March 2025. You are warmly invited to join the celebration. You find the link here, or below in the access description.
