Philippines: Nationwide relief campaigns

The readiness to help the victims of the typhoon in the Philippines is great. The United Church of Christ in the Philippines (UCCP) made it known today, that churches all over the country are wrapping up emergency packets. UCCP will distribute these from a central contact point to thousands of families, that are in dire need of fundamental goods.

The willlingsness to donate money ist still at a peak level. Numerous UEM member churches, like Nias Christian Protestant Church (BNKP), Batak Christian Protestant Church (HKBP) and Karo Batak Protestant Church (GBKP) made it clear today, that they will contribute so the relief efforts.
