Reception at Rwandan Prime Minister's office

UEM was honoured today with a reception of moderator Regine Buschmann and a UEM delegation at the Prime Minister’s office of Rwanda. The UEM had held its African Regional Assembly in Kibuye until yesterday evening. H.E. Bernard Makuza underlined the important role of the churches in reconciliation and resconstruction of Ruanda after the genocide in 1994. He expressed his gratefulness to the churches’ efforts in supporting women, children and people in need, and he thanked the UEM to have held the Regional Assembly in Rwanda. Organisations like the UEM are of major importance for positive developments in the world, he said.
