At the Climate Action Day events for protecting the environment take place in all participating regions. The actions and events will be shared on facebook or via skype live-connection.
Every year, youth from UEM member churches in Africa, Asia and Germany take part in the campaign with different actions and ideas. Many of them aim at informing and sensitizing people for the issue of climate change and justice for example by means of demonstrations, competitions and bicycle tours throughout towns and cities, special climate lessons in schools and universities or waste collection and tree-planting actions in the public.
As the climate change is a global issue there will be a worldwide networking and exchange of actions among the young people on facebook (www.facebook.com/climateactionday).
UN Climate Conference 2017 in Bonn (Germany): the challenge for more climate justice goes on

At the same time young people worldwide are asked to do their own campaigns in order to sensitize on climate and environmental issues within their context. All actions shall be reported on facebook in order to inform the decision-takers at the UN Climate Conference on the implications of their deliberations.
