United in Praise!

Five different choirs, a variety of languages and musical traditions:

The AmaSing Praiseband, the Elberfelder Girls' Choir, Church of Peace and the choirs of the Korean community and the International Evangelical Community (IEG) Wuppertal performed to a full house in the Gemarker Church.

Jörg Spitzer, Programme Officer for Music at the United Evangelical Mission, organised the evening. In addition to musical performances, there was time for discussion and socialising over good food from different traditions.

Mariam Muwanga, who contributed to the program as a co-moderator and a singer, said looking back about the evening: “I’m so glad to have been a part of this year’s international new year’s praise rally. Thanks to Jörg Spitzer for bringing such great church choirs, vocalists and musicians together. Together we are one big church family.”
