The climate protection agreement has been concluded by 195 countries last year in Paris. Now young adults within the UEM family have reminded to implement the agreement on December 03 - the international Youth Climate Action Day 2016. It is the fifth Youth Climate Action Day which takes place on the first Saturday in December each year. Like in the years before young adults from Africa, Asia and Europe plant trees, exchange plastic bags, organize climate friendly Christmas markets and discuss on renewable energies in order to sensitize the people in their environment on the issue of climate protection. The Youth Climate Action Day has become a worldwide movement which cares for climate change and global injustice. The young people show alternatives, learn from each other and exchange options in order to change our thinking and behavior: to reduce our consumption and thereby our wastes and to use more environmentally friendly means of transportation and energies.
