On June 7, the German Protestant Kirchentag begins in Nürnberg with more than 2,000 cultural, liturgical/theological and socio-political events over five days. The United Evangelical Mission is on site: It starts with the opening service. The speaker is our colleague, Thea Hummel, on Wednesday, June 7 at 5:30 p.m. on the stage at the Hauptmarkt. Sarah Vecera is featured in many panel events, workshops, and discussions, and presents UEM's anti-racism work. You can listen to the UEM's "Stachel & Herz" Podcast live on Friday, June 9 from 11 a.m. to noon. Our Young Adult Network invites you to a "Stand up for Change!" marketplace event and sing-along concert also on Friday.
In keeping with tradition, you can meet us at the EMW and Volunteer Services cooperation stands.
Details about the events, dates and locations of the UEM can be found here.
